Ireland lost 21-5 to a very strong French side on Thursday evening.
Tom Tierney’s side had to win the game if they wanted to qualify for a semi final spot but it wasn’t to be. Ireland were beaten by the better side on the night and should have no complaints. This is a talented french that could cause an upset in this years competition.
