It was a difficult night for the Limerick footballers at the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday evening as they fell to a heavy defeat to Mayo in the All Ireland Qualifiers.
Despite the final scoreline, there were some positives from the game as Limerick scored three goals and were able to compete with Mayo for periods of the game.
The gulf in class was further emphasised when Mayo sprung Andy Moran and Lee Keegan from the bench in the second half.
