WATCH: “I don’t think it gets much bigger”-JVG on Leinster game

Johann van Graan’s Munster side sit in second place of their conference in the Guinness Pro 14 ahead of the meeting with Leinster who top their conference.

Munster come into the game on the back of two consecutive losses and will be keen to overturn their neighbours to improve their form.

Ahead of the clash with the reigning Pro 14 and Champions Cup holders, van Graan has spoke about the importance of the game.

“In terms of Irish rugby and European Rugby, I don’t think it gets much bigger.”

“We want to measure ourselves against the best and there’s no better way to do it than against Leinster.”

If Munster are to beat Leinster, then it is highly likely that they will need to score tries with Leinster capable of scoring from anywhere on the field with the likes of Jordan Larmour and James Lowe in their ranks.

Munster have failed to score a five-pointer in their prvious two games but van Graan isn’t too worries as he said his side created chances but were unfortunate not to convert.

“Look obviously we want to score a try in every single game but the last two weren’t good enough in terms of finishing.”
