WATCH: Iain Corbett discusses the possibility of a Munster final spot and his own form

Ahead of the Munster semi-final this weekend against Cork, Limerick joint-captain Iain Corbett says the possibility of lining out in the final to be huge for the county.

Nonetheless, the Newcastle West man isn’t getting ahead of himself ahead of what promises to be a huge challenge.

“If we can get over the line against Cork, it would be absolutely amazing but we know we have a massive challenge again.

“I suppose, in hindsight, we might have caught Tipperary cold, but I don’t think Cork will be taking us for granted.”

Corbett was an unstoppable force for Limerick from centre-back in the quarter-final scoring the crucial opening goal and was awarded player of the week such was his form.

Commenting on his own form, Corbett shrugged it off insisting he got lucky on the day.

“I didn’t score much in the League but I kind of fancy myself to pop up with one or two so they all came together on the day.”
