WATCH: Inside the Greencore Munster Academy

Munster Rugby have released a detailed video documenting their process of integrating young players into their academy. The video is part of a series of videos to be released highlighting how players are chosen, tested and brought into the Academy in Munster. In part 1, The Elite Player Development manager Peter Malone goes through various aspects of the Academy’s structure.

The three year programme has seen great success over the years with current Academy members Calvin Nash, Fineen Wycherly and Liam O’Connor promoted to the first team for the 2018/19 season. Check out the video below courtesy of Munster Rugby’s YouTube channel.
