Ireland have endured an indifferent Autumn series with both the form of players and tactical setup all coming in for some criticism.
Andy Farrell’s side managed wins over Wales, Georgia and Scotland but suffered defeat on the road against eventual winners England.
The Twickenham loss coupled with a poor showing against France in Paris has seen the side come in for criticism but Saturday’s win over Scotland means they squad will now return to their provinces on a positive note ahead of the Champions Cup opening weekend.
