The Ireland vs Wales fixture always has potential to be the game of the tournament and this year is no exception.
After a pair of seasons filled with the unprecedented, the Six Nations returns with a bang this weekend. Irish fans will be eager to see the side once again in action with Andy Farrell’s side going three from three in the Autumn series including a win over the All-Blacks.
The most notable performance was undoubtedly their 29-20 victory over New Zealand and confidence is high in the camp that this side can win a first title since the 2018 Grand Slam.
From a Welsh point of view there is a little less excitement around this year tournament. Every year Wales are expected to either win the tournament or come a close second with huge pressure on the players to excel.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash with Wales, Irish Rugby have gathered together a video of Ireland’s best tries against the side in recent years.
