Limerick’s Ladies Football side are in the hunt for a final place tomorrow when the play Louth in the Lidl NFL Division 4 league semi final in Portarlington at 2pm.
The John Ryan managed team have played seven games in this league campaign, winning four, drawing one and losing two with one of those defeats coming against Sunday’s opponents.
Ahead of the game the Limerick’s coach Jim Moran spoke to Sporting Limerick and was full of praise for the team for reaching this stage.
“They are definitely on an upward curve,” says Moran. “We are more than happy with the position that we are in at the moment.
“We are in a better position to play Louth now than we were a few weeks ago so we are confident going into the game.”
