In his first season with the province, Joey Carbery has impressed the Munster faithful.
His on field intelligence and ability have often transformed this Munster team this year with his absence felt against Saracens and Benetton in recent weeks.
The young fly-half returns to the Munster starting this weekend against Leinster and has commented on his time thus far with the province.
“I love it down here and the potential for this team is endless really. We are working hard to get a taste for silverware and I know how much it would spur us on to learn more and improve.”
Carbery will be keen to impress against his former side with many calling for the out-half to get a chance at 10 for his national side ahead of the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
The fly-half isn’t looking past Leinster and has commented on what it is like playing against his friends.
“It’s funny playing against them. Some of them would be real good mates of mine .
But at the end of the day I’ve to go out and do my job and I’m doing that for the side I want to be doing it for.”
