WATCH: Johann van Graan focused on Pro 14 play-offs

Munster’s European season came to an end on Saturday last when they were comprehensively beaten by Saracens 32-16 in the semi-final of the Champions Cup.

Attention now reverts back to domestic action where Munster face Connacht in the final game of the regular season.

If Munster defeat Connacht and Edinburgh defeat Glasgow then Munster will have a home semi-final, otherwise they will have to play a quarter-final in the competition at Thomand Park.

For Johann van Graan, the aim is simple.

“A home semi-final in the Pro 14 is still a possibility but for that to happen we have to beat Connacht”.

After such a disappointing loss to Saracens, their third consecutive loss in the last four of the competition, Munster will look to the offseason to see can they offer anything new ahead of the 2019/20 season.

When asked about the potential for a new coach coming in, van Graan responded;

“As soon as we have any news we will give you an update.”
