WATCH: Johann van Graan on the early impact of Stephen Larkham

Munster head coach Johann van Graan is excited about working with his new senior coach Stephen Larkham.

The Australian was appointed to the new role in June, but only arrived in Limerick just over a week ago.

Although he hasn’t had a chance to work with Larkham for a significant amount of time as of yet, van Graan is looking forward to doing so.

“Since we have appointed him we have been in constant contact. He had to finish up with Rugby Australia and it was important for him to finish that well.

“I got him at the airport last Sunday evening and he was straight in on Monday morning. Firstly, there is a lot of excitement.

“He was a world class fly half that has turned into an exceptional coach. We are very lucky to have him and looking forward to what he is going to bring, not only in attack.”
