Munster returned to Pro14 action with a somewhat scrappy win over Italian side Zebre at Thomond Park on Saturday evening.
Johann van Graan’ side showed signs of a side that hadn’t played competitive rugby in a few weeks as they were good in patches but also had some below par spells over the 80 minutes.
First half tries from Sam Arnold and Brian Scott were added to by second half tries from Copeland, Rory Scannell and Arnold with his second of the game to ensure Munster would take full advantage of the Cheetahs loss in Cardiff to cement their home 1/4 final berth.
Despite the game not being a classic, Munster Rugby head coach Johann van Graan was satisfied with the five points.
