WATCH: Johann van Graan weary of the challenge of “consistent” Edinburgh

Munster head coach, Johann van Graan is expecting a “huge challenge” when Munster welcome Edinburgh to Thomond Park on Saturday for the Guinness PRO14 quarter-final.

Munster go in to the game off the back of a 24-point draw with Ulster last weekend.

Sam Arnold was the only member of that starting 15 to retain his spot from last month’s Champions Cup semi-final loss to Racing 92.

van Graan says it was important to rest players after a hectic schedule of late.

“We’ve done well as a team over the season and certain guys deserve their spots…. For me it’s about finding a balance and picking a team that can beat Edinburgh.”

The Munster team to play Edinburgh will be announced on Friday.
