WATCH: John Kiely on learning lessons and injury update

For John Kiely and his Limerick side, all the preparation for this Sunday’s Munster Final will be done by now with his side ready to add to their 19 Munster Championships.

Speaking ahead of the final, Kiely has spoken about how he has learned from the second year of the round-robin Munster format.

“We learned a lot from last year in that rotation is key and if I had my way again I’d probably rotate even more.”

When these sides met in Thurles, Tipperary lost two key men in Cathal Barrett and Patrick Bonner Maher through injury.

Those will be huge losses for Liam Sheedy with Bonner out for the season and Barrett’s return unknown.

Ahead of the final, John Kiely gave his own injury report.

“We’re not 100% but we’re not too bad. We picked up a few bits and pieces over the weekend but they’re nothing major.

Just knocks and tweaks.”

The interview with John Kiely is brought to you in association with Foot Solutions Limerick.
