The Limerick senior hurling boss has confirmed that Casey is back training since last weekend but won’t be ready to take to the pitch at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
“He’s got a lot of work to do yet. For Peter he needs another at least two weeks training. He’s just happy to be back training, happy to be back playing and none of us are going to put any pressure on him.”
With the exception of Casey, Limerick will be working with a full strength panel as Tom Morrissey and Seamus Hickey have recovered from knocks picked up in the round one victory over Tipperary.
