WATCH: John Kiely says Limerick “will give it 110% on Saturday night”

WATCH: “We will give it 110% on Saturday night”- John Kiely taking nothing for granted.

Limerick will enter this Saturday’s qualifier game against Carlow as strong favourites but John Kiely is taking nothing for granted ahead of the vital game. Last weekend, Carlow were very impressive in winning the Joe McDonagh Cup while Limerick’s last outing was a fortnight ago when they looked fatigued and lacklustre.

Kiely is leaving nothing to chance ahead of the game and has acknowledged the advantage Carlow have in playing the game in Dr Cullen Park. Yet Kiely is confident in his players that they are well equipped to reply to any challange they will face on Saturday evening.

“We will give it 110% on Saturday night to make sure we are still in the draw on Monday morning.”

“Its a game we will have to take extremely seriously and make sure we don’t create a problem for ourselves. Its hugely important we put in a strong performance on Saturday evening.”

“Being at home is always an advantage, you know your own ground, we’ve never played down there before so for us it’s going to be a new outing so it is an advantage but it’s up to us to make sure we play well enough and perform well enough and to overcome that advantage.”

Limerick v Carlow throws in at 7pm this Saturday night in Dr Cullen Park in Carlow. See the full interview with Kiely and much more on our YouTube channel below.
