WATCH: JVG on Thomond Park and taking positives from Paris

Johann van Graan is accentuating the positives from last week’s defeat to Racing 92 that effectively rendered Munster’s European campaign over.

Van Graan insists that there were positives aplenty despite the final result ahead of Munster’s final group games against Ospreys at Thomond Park on Sunday.

Heading back to Thomond Park is a welcome relief for Munster after defeats to Ulster and Racing in there last two games.

They did lose their unbeaten run at the Cratloe Road venue to Leinster on December 28th, their first loss there in two years.

“It’s always brilliant to play at Thomond Park. We have incredible support. The amount of Munster people that went to Racing and the people at the airport were all brilliant.

“We love to play at Thomond Park. Before the Leinster game we were unbeaten there for two years.

“Even that game, it came down to a lineout in the last minute. We are really looking forward to playing at home which will be our last European game of the season at home.”
