WATCH: Kiely on Limerick’s need to improve and playing for a third week in a row

Limerick manager John Kiely says his side will not be resting on their laurels ahead of their Munster SHC clash with Tipperary on Sunday.

Kiely feels that Limerick need to improve despite their sensational display that saw them beat Clare 1-28 to 0-13 at LIT Gaelic Grounds last weekend.

“Lots of positives, but a few areas to work on as well. It wasn’t all positive. When you sit down and analyse and break it down, there are areas there is still work to be done on, which is great.

“It gives us a focal point and a focus for us to maybe hone in on training this week as well.”

When asked what needed to improve, one thing that Kiely highlighted was the team’s puck outs.

“That’s an area to work on. To be fair to Clare, they did a good job of that. We know ourselves that we can do better on it. That’s the carrot now for us this week is to try go and do better on that.
