Limerick will get their first taste of the new Pairc Ui Chaoimh this Saturday night under lights in their second game of this years Munster championship. Limericks last game at the ground came in the 2014 Munster final where they were beaten by the Rebels.
John Kiely says his team are wxcited about playing in the revamped stadium but does not think it will be a deciding factor, highlighting how it is still a pitch with four corners like all others.
“It’s just another pitch”
“Ultimately it’s just a mass of concrete with a green patch in the middle.”
“I think sometimes that can be overplayed.”
