WATCH: KP’s Peter Nash expecting a ‘tight game’ in PIHC final

This Sunday Kildimo Pallaskenry will look to make it two promotions in three years when they face Blackrock in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Final in the Gaelic Grounds.

These sides met in the group stages and played out a draw and KP captain Peter Nash is expecting more of the same this weekend.

“There’s going to be nerves from both sides. Things aren’t going to come easy. So without a shadow of a doubt, it’s going to be a tight game.”

After winning the Intermediate Hurling championship in 2017, KP went on to win the Junior A football championship last year with Nash saying there is a buoyant atmosphere around the villages as they prepare for a third county final in as many years.

“It’s lovely to go through the two villages and see the bunting and the signs up around. You would be trying to keep a wrap on that and concentrate on the game because that is the most important thing.”

Watch the interview in full with Nash below.
