WATCH: Leinster Second String Humble Munster At The Aviva

Different Leinster starting XV same old result as Munster are humbled by Leo Cullen’s second string side at the Aviva Stadium.

Munster winless run against Leinster at the Aviva Stadium runs back all the way to 2014 and following on from last night’s performance, it does not look like ending anytime soon.

The manner of the defeat, the bluntness of the attack and the personnel Leinster had on the field offer little will compound the frustration for Munster fans. Munster have been beaten by 10 match points to nil in their last two outings against Leinster with similar failings repeating themselves across all recent encounters.

The loss now means Munster will travel to Ulster in the quarter finals but it is hard to see how Munster can string three performances on the bounce to win this competition. Especially when Leinster are still in the competition.
