It was a tough night for Limerick FC in Markets Field on Monday as they lost out by three goals to Derry City in the Airtricity League Premier Division.
The visitors took the lead just before half-time through Rory Patterson. Limerick had chances to level the game but failed to capitalise for which they were punished as Aaron McEneff scored twice in the final minutes, once from a penalty.
Limerick now lie in ninth place in the league table with an away trip to Turners Cross to face Cork City FC to come.
