Limerick overcame Warrenpoint in the semi final with a two hole win while Sligo had a comfortable seven hole win over Dundalk. Captain Juan Fitzgerald made the brave decision to drop Justin Kehoe for the final as the wind picked up to over 30mph.

The gamble payed off as replacement Sean Enwright paired up with Owen O’Brien to claim a hard fought one hole win over Campbell & Ryan Gribben in the morning.

Enwright and O’Brien won’t on to claim a two-hole win over brothers TJ and Daniel Ford with O’Brien’s 25-footer at the 15th just dropping to seal the win.

However the real damage was dished out by Michael Reddan & Ciaran Vaughan who stormed to a 5 hole victory over Ruairi O’Connor and Thomas Finnegan.
