Watch – Limerick senior hurlers raring to go for Night of Boxing Fundraiser

Kyle Hayes, Barry Nash and Oisin O’Reilly with some strong words ahead of their fights on Saturday night.

18 members of the Limerick senior hurling panel will take to the squared-circle in the South Court Hotel this Saturday to raise funds for their 2018 training fund.

Sporting Limerick paid a visit to St Francis Boxing Club ahead of the event to speak to coach Ken Moore and some of the members of his ‘Red Team’.

Under 21 All-Ireland winner Kyle Hayes was confident ahead of his bout with Diarmuid Byrnes but says he’s keeping his game plan close to his chest.

“There’s only one real answer there and that’s myself I’d say, he has no chance with me.”

While another member of last years successful U21 side, Oisin O’Reilly is expecting to dominate his opponent Colin Ryan.

“Hopefully Colin Ryan will be knocked on the floor, we’ll have to wait and see. Knock out.”
