WATCH: Limerick U-16 camogie manager Francis Kennedy on preparation for All-Ireland Final

Limerick’s U-16 camogie side face Waterford in Nenagh on Sunday in an All-Ireland Final and manager Francis Kennedy says that his side have prepared well ahead of the big day.

Kennedy’s charges beat Laois in the semi final and hopes that the nerves are out of the players’ system ahead of Sunday.

“We are pretty happy (with preparation). A week and a half ago we had our semi final with Laois.

“We are looking forward to it. The girls were very nervous on the day (against Laois). From a management point of view it was great to get a good match.

“Prior to that we had won our matches quite handily. The girls are made for the training sessions.

“The girls that are there are there for a reason. They enjoy their camogie. and are a fantastic group of girls.”
