Limerick man William O’Connor helped send the Republic of Ireland through the second round of the World Cup of Darts on Friday night with a fine victory over Greece.
O’Connor and his partner Steve Lennon beat Greece 5-1 in very convincing fashion in Hamburg, with O’Connor sealing the win by taking out 68 with a double 16 finished to earn a place in the second round.
