WATCH: Ludden- “It was all about getting into the next Round”

Treaty United captain Marc Ludden praised his team’s professionalism in the aftermath of the 5-0 victory over Leinster Senior League outfit Usher Celtic in the FAI Cup. Treaty’s goals came through Sean Guerins, Dean George (x2), Enda Curran and Success Edogun.

Treaty are now through to the last 16 of the competition and Ludden played a key role in the win providing assists for both Sean Guerins and Dean George on the night.

Adrian Finnin caught up with Ludden after the game and the full-back was happy with the overall performance from his teammates.

“It’s all about getting through to the next round especially when you are playing against teams who aren’t in the Premier or First Divisions. They are always going to try and get a scalp and knock us out. I thought we started well but then became a bit lackadaisical but we regrouped at half-time and in the second half we were really professional. “
