A fantastic second half display fro Tommy Barrett’s Treaty United helped them to a deserved 2-1 success over Athlone Town on Friday night.
The Markets Field was hopping as United showed decent powers of recovery to make it maximum points from three outings.
Lee Devitt cancelled out a Frantz Pierrot opener, which had Athlone in a strong position at half time.
But, the hosts bamboozled their rivals, and got the reward for changing personnel. Devitt moved into midfield with Marc Ludden returning after nearly two months on the sidelines.
Treaty travel to Longford next weekend, now within touching distance of the coveted top five, and the play-off spots.
