WATCH: McGann: “It’s Been a Brilliant 4 Days and Shows the Character We Have”

Pike Rovers captain Steven McGann hailed the character of his teammates as they secured the Lawson Cup trophy on Thursday night following a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Fairview Rangers. Second half goals from Kevin Barry and McGann gave the Hoops their second trophy in four days as they also beat Fairview in the league play-off decider on Sunday.

McGann: We grinded out the first half with the wind against us but second half we went on top and took out chances when they came. Its been a brilliant four days from losing the FAI to this and it shows the character we have in the squad.”
