WATCH: Mike Prendergast says Munster well placed to challenge next season

WATCH: Mike Prendergast says Munster are well placed to challenge in coming season.

The former Heineken Cup winner with the province believes a fully fit Munster are well placed to challenge for honours for the upcoming season.

Munster have signed Ireland internationals Tadgh Beirne and Joey Carbery who both featured in Ireland’s monumental series win over Australia this Summer and will add serious quality to a Munster side who were ravaged by injury last year.

These signings coupled with the return of the likes of Chris Farrell and Chris Cloete will bolster Johann Van Graan’s side as they look to build on a couple of years of high-quality performances.

“The positives of guys getting injured is the guys that came in a really stood up to what was asked of them. I think from that point of view it’s about getting competition and pushing each other. Munster is all about that.”

“There is a very good balance to the Munster squad next year.”
