Munster’s hopes of making the 2018 Champions Cup Final an all Irish affair are over after they lost 27-22 to Racing 92 in Bordeaux.
The French side went in for three tries in the opening 40 minutes with Teddy Thomas crossing twice and the winger also set up Maxime Machenaud for their third that helped Racing into a 24-3 lead at the break.

Munster rallied in the second half with tries from Simon Zebo, Rhys Marhsall and Andrew Conway but they ultimately came up short.
Zebo came off the bench early in the second half and made a huge impact against the side he joins at the end of this season by scoring the first try and then setting up Conway late on.
