Watch: Munster’s Neil Cronin gives insight into life as a pro
Neil Cronin was rewarded for his outstanding form in the Ulster Bank All-Ireland League over the last number of years when Munster gave him a one-year contract in the off season.
Cronin had made four appearances for Munster in the 2014/15 season but his first crack at the professional game didn’t work out.
He returned to his teaching studies but he now has another chance to give the professional game another go due to his showings for Garryowen. Cronin admits that the adjustment in pre-season hasn’t been easy.
“It’s tough but in fairness to the S&C guys they are tailoring everything so I’m not jumping straight into what everybody else’s bodies are used to”
Cronin also gave an insight into the change to his daily routine as a teacher and compared it to his current one and his sibling rivalry with his brother, Leinster and Ireland hooker Sean.
