Tommy O’Donnell has congratulated the Irish side for landing their third ever Grand Slam with a famous win at Twickenham.
The Tipperary man believes that only those who had a major interest in Saturday’s All-Ireland Club senior hurling championship clash in Croke Park will have missed the heroics in England.
“Who wasn’t watching it? Apart from a couple of Na Piarsaigh and Cuala lads and the real GAA fans up in Dublin. I hear that a few of those were even asking for the rugby score half way through the game.”
