Lavin came first in the 100m hurdle event over the weekend
The National championships were held in Morton Stadium in Santry over the weekend and Emerald AC athlete, and former Castletroy college Pupil, Sarah Lavin brought home gold in her 100m hurdle’s event with a time of 13.62.

Lavin will now go on to compete at the World University games in Taipei which take place from the 19th to the 30th of August.
Lavin is obviously delighted with the win, which can be seen in the interview she did after the race, above.
