The Canadian native has scored an incredible 110 points in only his first two games for the Limerick Celtics.

Matt St.Amour has recently signed for Limerick Celtics as part of  the Sport Changes Life Victory Scholar Programme. The programme enables student athletes the chance to further their studies, while continuing to play their sports in colleges in the Republic Of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The 22 year old is currently studying the Master of Business in Marketing & Management Strategy programme in LIT while playing for the Celtics.

As part of the Victory Scholar initiative, St.Amour also gets the chance to coach younger basketball sides in the community and in an interview with Basketball Ireland recently he talks about his coaching role in Limerick.
