Na Piarsaigh made it three wins from four games in the Bon Secours Limerick SHC after a 3-21 to 2-11 win over Adare on Saturday.
Two Kevin Downes goals in the first half and one from Adrian Breen set the Caherdavin side on the road to the victory.
After the game, Na Piarsaigh captain Will O’Donoghue spoke to Sporting Limerick and said that his side have plenty of work to do ahead of their crucial final group stage fixture with Doon.
They have hit form in dismantling Kilmallock the previous week and then Adare, but O’Donoghue says their focus hasn’t dropped despite the big wins.
“I wouldn’t be getting too carried away with last week’s win. The Kilmallock lads will say that it was probably one of their worst performances in recent times.
“We happened to capitalise with a few goals. Had a few of those passes not stuck, it wouldn’t have been as comprehensive of a win.
“We are not getting carried away with that. We know that we have a lot to improve on, but it’s good to get wins. It’s good to get momentum moving.
“This is when you need the momentum rolling. This is when you want to be putting in good performances.”
