WATCH: O’Hanlon Elated by Munster Junior Cup win

Aisling Annacotty manager Shane O’Hanlon feels that his team proved doubters wrong when winning the Munster Junior Cup following victory over fellow Limerick District League side Fairview Rangers at Jackman Park on Sunday.

A solitary goal from Aaron Murphy in the first half gave Annacotty their first ever provincial title. We caught up with O’Hanlon after the game and he was in defiant mood.

“People had us dead and buried. I have been very lucky and there is another Munster Junior trophy for us. People don’t give you credit and I have a lot of trophies won at this stage. People will still write me off but I am here to stay.”
