WATCH: O’Hanlon hoping to overcome tough period at Janesboro

Janesboro manager Shane O’Hanlon cut a disheartened figure following Thursday night’s defeat to Ballynanty in the Tuohy Cup.

O’Hanlon was unable to name any substitutes as his squad was stretched due to summer departures, injury and work commitments but he feels the players who played on Thursday would have learned a lot.

“It was a tough night at the office. Unfortunately, it was one of the better teams in town that we met on the night. Apart from the score line , we got a lot out of it.

We got a couple of injuries which we didn’t want but we got a lot from the lads that were out there. Young Vincent made some great saves in goal and Jack Cross was a revelation.”
