WATCH – Pike Boss Mick Shiel not worried about suspension ahead of Aviva decider

WATCH – Mick Shiel not worried about suspension ahead of Aviva decider.

Pike Rovers play take part in their second FAI Junior Cup final in three season’s when they take on North End United at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Manager Mick Shiel will won’t be permitted on the sidelines for the game following a suspension he picked up in the semi-final win over Newmarket Celtic.

The former Limerick FC assistant who held a training session for his side at the Markets Field on Thursday evening says he’s not too worried about watching on from the stands.

“I don’t really get involved before the game. We’ll have our team meeting tomorrow at the hotel… The only time they might miss me is in the dressing room at half time, but maybe there’s some players in the dressing room who don’t want a simmering guy like me on the sideline giving out to them.”

Shiel also stated that he has full confidence that his coaching team will be experienced enough to take charge of the hoops on match day.
