The EURO 2020 National Football Exhibition will visit Limericks UL Sport Arena in the build-up to the landmark 60th UEFA European Championship Finals.
The FAI along with The Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport have teamed up to create this exhibition in order to promote the upcoming UEFA European Championships, were four of the tournaments matches are set to be held in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium in 2020.
Sporting Limerick caught up with Republic of Ireland & Liverpool legend Ray Houghton before the Kennedy Cup kick off yesterday to get an idea of what the exhibition has in store for visitors.
The free Exhibition is made up of six zones, with each zone designed to give you an overview of the various different aspects of football in Ireland, the impact this has around the country, some of your favourite and most memorable National and International moments and a look at some of the most iconic moments over the last 60 years of the EUROs.
The zones will be made up of memorabilia displays and interactive stations with videos, quizzes and an opportunity to step up to the mic and record your own commentary of some iconic Irish goals!
Limerick is the third stop as the Exhibition travels around Ireland in the build-up to the tournament.
The Exhibition will be open to the public from Thursday, June 13th until Sunday, June 30th. Download the National Football Exhibition app for a preview of your visit and for additional information.
