Although their time was enough for world qualification, they just missed out on Sunday’s final. They were just 0.3 seconds off securing a place in the Olympic Games this Summer.

There are still some chances left for the squad to qualify for the summer games.

The result continued an excellent season for Lavin with a number of personal bests as she just missed out on the finals of the 60m sprint at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in March.

Lavin is a member of the Emerald AC club and is trained by Noelle Morrissey.
