WATCH: Sean Finn on the emotional Limerick GAA DVD

For Sean Finn, 2018 will go down as a dream year for the Bruff man. A first All-Ireland in almost fifty years was secured for his county in August before the corner-back was honoured for his sublime performances all year by collecting his maiden All Star at the beginning of this month.

To celebrate the historic victory, Limerick GAA will be releasing a special commerative DVD chronicling Limerick’s journey in 2018. With over four hours of footage, it promises to be a must have for all fans this Christmas.

Ahead of the launch of the DVD, Finn alongside Raffale Rocca and William Buckley who helped produce the DVD, spoke with Valerie Wheeler on Spin South West about the upcoming DVD and the emotion of reliving the events over again from a different perspective.

“I have seen clips of the DVD and it is very special. Yousee the All-Ireland final from a different perspective. We’re looking out atthe crowd coming through O’Connell street, you see the Spire and there’s somuch Limerick people, you do get goose bumps when you see it”.

“Obviously it’s nice to get the soundtracks in the back. You’ve Dolores O’Riordan’s Dreams in the background, it never fails to put goose bumps on your arms.”
