WATCH | Senior School’s Cup Round Two highlights as Crescent College advance

There was no shortage of exciting games in round two of the Pinergy Munster Schools Senior cup

Last Wednesday at the Thomond Park back-pitch, Crescent College Comprehensive edged out PBC 17-13 to book their place in the semi-final. The Cork school will play St Munchins in the quarter final.

On the same afternoon, CBC booked their place in the semi-final of this year’s competition with an entertaining 37-25 over Bandon Grammar School at Musgrave Park. Bandon Grammar will have another opportunity to progress when they meet the winner of Ardscoil Rís and Rockwell College.

St Munchins guaranteed their progression to the quarterfinals with a 10-0 win over Castletroy College while Ardscoil Rís and Rockwell College played out a hugely entertaining 24-24 draw.

The two teams will meet again this Thursday to determine who plays Bandon Grammar in the next round.
