WATCH: Shane Daly on Larkham’s impact and making the most of his opportunities this season

Munster youngster Shane Daly is expected to see a lot of game time in the coming weeks as he looks to build on a couple of fleeting appearances last term.

The Cork winger/centre is one of many exciting prospects at the province hoping to make an impact over the first part of the season with so many players away at the World Cup.

He hailed the early impact of new senior coach Stephen Larkham earlier this week and says that silverware is a big expectation within the squad this season.

“It’s my first full season so I have been fully involved in the pre-season. It’s definitely a new feel for me.

“There is a buzz around the place, not that it wasn’t there, but you can really fell now that players want to win trophies.

“That was always there, but I think people really believe it this year. Because there are so many players missing, everyone is getting opportunities to play and there are so many games coming up.

“Everyone is excited. Everyone knows that they are going to play. We need to put ourselves in the best position possible to get as many points as we can.”
