WATCH: Shiel- “It’s been a little bit Different but I’m beginning to Enjoy it”

Treaty United Strength and Conditioning Coach Mike Shiel returned to the Airtricity League ranks this year under Tommy Barrett. Both men knew each other from their time at Limerick FC under both Mike Kerley and briefly under Pat Scully.

Shiel had never made any secret of his desire to return to Airtricity League level but he has re-trained and returned as an S&C Coach. He said it was difficult to adjust at the beginning but is enjoying it now.

“It’s changed since I was at this level the last time. Players are now more than half my age. Its been a little bit of an adjustment but I’m actually beginning to really enjoy it now”
