Treaty United player Jenna Slattery has had a big impact for the club during its first year in existence. Slattery was signed as an under-17 player by Irene Hehir but her subsequent performances resulted in a call-up to the senior team quickly.
The lively player scored for Dave Rooney’s senior side in last weekend’s 4-5 victory over Bohemians and could well play a part in this weekend’s FAI Cup Semi-Final against Cork City. She admits the step-up to Women’s National League level is huge.
“Its a big step-up from club level. Its not easy, you have to be professional and you have to keep working hard. It’s very competitive between players soy you have to keep working hard in training and I have been doing and luckily I have been getting opportunities.”
