Last weekend, Brian Scott bagged his first Munster try while Gerbrandt Grobler and John Poland made their competitive first XV debuts. The Cork winger acknowledges that the depth of the Munster squad will be tested with the internationals away but squad depth is crucial going forward.
“When the internationals are away, there is a load of lads getting opportunities and it’s great. That’s what you need to build a big squad and go on to win trophies.”
All that plus a rather amusing technique to staying warm on the wing during cold nights at Thomond Park.
