WATCH: Tommy Barrett reacts to draw with Longford

Limerick FC manager Tommy Barrett seemed satisfied with his side’s 0-0 draw with Longford Town at the Markets Field on Friday night. In a cagey affair, the Shannonsiders picked up a valuable point against one of the division’s more fancied sides.

In a game of few chances, Karl O’Sullivan had the best chance for Limerick as he hit the side netting when through on goal. Barrett is hoping O’Sullivan will learn quickly. “He has to go across the goalkeeper there but he did well to get himself in to that position and struck it very well but unfortunately it hit the side netting.”
