WATCH: Tommy Barrett: “we were full value for the win”

Limerick FC manager Tommy Barrett was pleased with his side’s 1-0 victory over Cabinteely at the Markets Field on Friday night.

A goal midway through the first half from Connor Ellis decided an entertaining game as Limerick are now four points off Shelbourne at the top of the table.

In truth, the home side could have won by a greater margin and Tommy Barrett re-iterated that after the game.

I think we were full value for the win. Connor (Ellis) missed the best chance of the game near the end as well. You see his work rate and he gets himself into those positions and I’d rather him miss some than get no chances at all. I think we were full value for the win.
