WATCH: Tracy may return next season

Long term Limerick FC player Shane Tracy spoke to Sporting Limerick in the aftermath of his side’s comprehensive 4-1 victory over Wexford FC on Friday night.

Tracy captained the side on a night where Limerick fielded a very inexperienced squad, save for Tracy and Robbie Williams. The former Arsenal Youth also scored a penalty after the first minute.

When asked about his future with Limerick FC, he refused to rule out a return to the club next season whether it be in a playing or different role. The club’s future is uncertain and Tracy says you can never rule anything out in football.

In football you don’t know what’s going to happen. I don’t know what’s going to happen. I have been in and out over the last few years but I will just enjoy tonight.

I cant really answer that question as I have seen things happen at this club over the last few years that no one has expected.
